Brendan M. Lynch has served as a public affairs officer at the University of Kansas since 2007, where he’s been responsible for producing news releases, feature articles and videos, as well as producing a long-running radio series for Kansas Public Radio focused on scientific research. Prior to his time at KU, Lynch worked for Northstar Travel Media as a magazine writer covering business travel. Previously, he independently produced radio documentaries and worked as a multimedia producer at Arnold Worldwide, the largest ad agency in New England. Career highlights include covering Hurricane Katrina from New Orleans as well as national political conventions. He’s won multiple CASE awards for writing during his time at KU.
Lynch graduated from Hampshire College in Amherst, Massachusetts. He began teaching in the School of Journalism in 2013, serving as instructor for both Multimedia Reporting and Infomania.
