Time commitment: Approximately 8 hours per week

Intern reports to Kansas State Director of Communications for the Alzheimer's Association

General communications tasks include:

• Maintenance of social media platforms (including adding Facebook events, sharing posts, creating potential content)
• Develop active media contact list (radio, TV, publications) for the Heart of America Chapter and the Central/Western Kansas Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association

Qualifications
Excellent communication skills and proficient use of the English language
Must be familiar with social media platforms, especially Facebook
Must have interest in media outreach and have computer skills for Google searches
Must be knowledgeable in Microsoft Office
