Communications intern (Lawrence, Kansas)
Support the executive director in external communications of the coalition. Projects would focus on healthy food access, the built environment, tobacco-free living, worksite wellness, and healthy activities for kids. Of course, the internship would be tailored to fit the strengths and interests of the intern and could offer experience in strategic communication, writing news releases and items for our website as well as print and web design opportunities for social media content.
Anticipated time commitment: 4-6 hours per week. Available for class credit if student enrolls by Sept. 3.
Anticipated start date: October 2021
