The Kansas Public Employees Retirement System is seeking an intern to assist the Communications Department with ongoing member engagement and retirement readiness projects. This will include working with communication specialists and multimedia specialist to develop content and graphics for multichannel use, including web, video and print publications, as required for department projects.

The ideal candidate should be a dynamic self-starter, at the junior- or senior-level, working toward a degree in journalism and mass communications, business, marketing, graphic design or related field. Candidate should be able to work independently on a wide variety of digital communications initiatives.

Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, including After Effects, Audition, Character Animator, Dreamweaver, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Premiere Pro preferred.

This will be a paid internship, up to 20 hours per week.
