About SRC
The Senior Resource Center for Douglas County serves seniors in the multiple communities across the county, providing resources, information, opportunities, and advocacy that enhance the quality of the second half of life.

The senior population in Douglas County, adults age 60-plus, is one of the fastest growing segments across the country as well as in Kansas, with growth of over 24 percent over the last several years. This unique niche segment is quite diverse, including older adults who are reaching retirement age and transitioning to Medicare and are very active and engaged to those who need assistance with transportation and other supports. This is an exciting time and presents solid opportunities for working with SRC and area seniors.
