Sprint Center is Kansas City's home for live entertainment and sporting events. Anchor to more than $6 billion of reinvestment in a revitalized downtown Kansas City, the award winning venue has welcomed more than 7 million guests attending over 750 events. Having exceeded attendance and financial projections in each year since opening in 2007, AEG/Sprint Center has provided nearly $10 million in unanticipated revenue to the City of Kansas CIty through a revenue sharing provision in the arena management agreement.
The digital media strategist oversees all venue digital communication channels, including the website, e-communication and social media initiatives via multiple platforms. The ideal candidate will enthusiastically embrace new technology in a positive manner and display a passion for building meaningful two-way conversations and relationships with social fans/followers. Duties include developing, implementing, evaluating and reporting marketing and PR strategies focused on variety of audiences with a primary goal of selling tickets.
