Media strategist intern (Lawrence, Kansas)
LightLyre Media is seeking an advanced undergraduate student to collaborate with us on our media strategy for the rollout of a new book series.
Job duties at the beginning would include a daily update of the Twitter feed, handling press releases out and media requests in.
The press releases will be from a template. Media requests will be granted with access to the principals set in specific weekly windows. A calendar of available times and days will be provided.
The main requirement is someone who can take on "the voice" of the Twitter feed. This requires a sly humor that is able to mimic certain current events for ideal impact.
Future growth potential includes eventual management of all communications, including the website for this product and management of a possible national campaign depending upon the reception in the first 6 months.
LightLyre Media, LLC is the new iteration of LightLyre Films, LLC. LightLyre Films was founded in 1991 and has been a video production house, film studio, education studio, and animation producer for 26 years. After executive producing a student produced TV Mini Series and with the release of the new line of books, LightLyre Films is transitioning into LightLyre Media. 2017 will also see the release of two feature films and preproduction on one of three new feature films.
