Social media intern (remote)
360 Sports in Colorado Springs, Colorado, offers hands-on public relations, social media and publicity internships in the fall, spring and summer semesters. Intern will ideate, create and execute unique, innovative concepts for publication on 360 Sports and Pro Mindset Podcast digital channels. Here's a list of the various duties and responsibilities:
Research, strategize and execute social media plan that engages with current followers and attracts new followers. Then execute the plan with excellence.
Write creative copy for various audiences on various social platforms, specifically Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn.
Create visuals to enhance message of social media posts.
Research and assist with NFL athlete appearance opportunities.
Draft press releases and sending to appropriate media; pitch media as needed.
Candidate must be articulate, great writer, storyteller and communicator, multitasker, person of integrity, self-starter, self-disciplined, strive for excellence, genuine, and is a team player. Candidate must possess a desire to help others, solve peroblems, a knack for developing content, and some college coursework related to publicity or social media. Must have a minimum 3.0 GPA. Knowledge of game of football a plus, but not critical. The ideal person should be very familiar with social media platforms and have knowledge of how to use Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube to reach consumers. Computer skills in Microsoft Office programs are needed. Ideally would like a candidate who also possess basic graphic design skills or video skills, but not critical. Cover letter or resume should outline all skills candidate possesses, courses taken to demonstrate competency and what software programs they are efficient in utilizing.
