Each year, the American Association of University Women offers fellowships to assist women who are pursuing a doctoral education. Applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents.

Fulbright- National geographic Digital Storytelling Fellowship
For the 2018-19 competition, the Fulbright-National Geographic Storytelling Fellowship will accept proposals to undertake an in-depth examination of a globally relevant issue. Multi-country projects will compare and contrast how an issue or set of issues is experienced across borders.

Lagrant Foundation Scholarships
The scholarship recipients will receive a trip to New York or San Francisco where they will participate in career building activities. This includes a welcome dinner with a keynote speaker, two day-long career development workshops and a scholarship & donor recognition reception.

NABJ awards scholarships annually to deserving students interested in pursuing careers in journalism. Scholarships are worth up to $3,000.

The Dennis and Shirley Feldman Fellowship is named after a journalist and public relations adviser, who put himself through grad school at night, and his wife. The award is endowed by the Feldman family and the National Press Club.
