Mark Johnson

Mark has taught First Amendment law at KU since 2008, and taught a course on election and campaign law at the KU Law School in the fall of 2010. In addition to his customary course on First Amendment law in the Journalism School, he also teaches a seminar on free speech to freshmen in the KU Honors Program.
He received a B.A. in History from Yale in 1977 and a J.D. from Harvard Law School in 1980. He is one of three founders of the Kansas City office for SNR Denton, an international law firm, and currently represents telecommunications companies, wireless carriers and cable companies.
