Event Management Intern


Non-profit organization, Pro Football Camp (PFC) in Colorado Springs, offers hands-on internship for Spring/Summer 2024. Interns will work as a team on multiple facets of the camp and will have overall responsibility for the event management of PFC. Here’s a list of the potential duties:

  • Event Management, e.g. organize and execute all Pro Football Camp’s on-site logistics and related special events, e.g. Meet the Pros and Praise with the Pros.

  • Marketing & Communications e.g. work on team to develop a comprehensive marketing plan, execute the plan, including flier distribution, ad placement, communication with volunteers and participants’ parents, etc. This person have specific tasks and responsibilities but will work alongside a team that will handle social media, publicity, graphics and video production.

  • Grants, sponsorship sales & donors: solicit potential companies for sponsorship opportunities and/or donors of products or services and execute and fulfill partners’ sponsorship agreements.

    Candidate must be a self-starter, articulate, a great communicator, detail-oriented, multitasker, and a good problem solver. Candidate must possess a desire to help others, give back to the community, some event management experience and enjoy working with kids. Must have a minimum 3.0 GPA. Knowledge of game of football a plus, but not critical. Computer skills in Microsoft Office programs are needed.

    Intern must be willing to live in Colorado Springs from mid-to-late May through June 30th. Internship will run from post Spring Break through July 31, 2024.
