Getting Involved

Getting involved and networking with peers and professionals is one of the best ways for students to get a jump start on their career goals. Students augment their education by getting involved in these clubs and organizations at the William Allen White School of Journalism and Mass Communications.

KU PRSSA

The KU Public Relations Student Society of America connects students with a vast network of PR professionals, networking opportunities and jobs within the PR field. Tours at some of the top PR agencies in Kansas City provide students with the chance to see what working in a fast-paced agency setting is like. PRSSA also offers opportunities to work with local clients on PR-based projects.
