Event Social Media Student Worker
The Event Social Media position for Triple Crown Sports is a game day position that works as part of the Media Team to capture moments that tell the story during Triple Crown Sports events. The event social media intern is responsible for filming and photographing in-game action as well as event festivities to create Instagram Reels/stories, Twitter (X) posts, and Tik Tok videos. The incumbent must be flexible and adaptive in a fast-paced environment wherein critical thinking and the ability to effectively follow direction are essential.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Film and photograph moments that tell the story of the event.
Works in tandem with Media Team to reach objectives for media coverage.
Edits and formats media for usage across various platforms.
You May Be Asked To Perform Any Of The Following:
Required Qualifications:
Cover a specific game or event at a specific time.
Create highlight reels with a tight deadline.
Speak with a coach or parent of the program you are covering so that you
can properly tag the team on all social media accounts.
A keen interest in social media and creating engaging content.
Flexibility to work nights, weekends and holidays.
Ability to work the entire event as needed, including pre- and post-game
activities.
General understanding of the game of baseball, softball, or volleyball.
Works well in fast-paced/live event, high-pressure situations.
