General Manager
Eagle Media is seeking a dynamic, revenue-driven general manager to lead and grow our Manhattan/Junction City, Kansas, market. The GM is first and foremost a sales leader, responsible for driving new business, building and coaching a high-performing sales team, and delivering consistent revenue and profit growth. This individual will also ensure that programming, operations, and community engagement efforts are aligned to maximize advertiser value and strengthen Eagle Media's presence in the community.

Key Responsibilities
Sales and Revenue Leadership
• Lead the sales team to meet and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual revenue goals
• Actively participate in sales efforts: make client calls, close key accounts, and prospect new business
• Develop innovative sales strategies and packages across radio, digital and events to deliver results for clients
• Foster a high-performance sales culture focused on activity, accountability and client success
• Build long-term partnerships through solution-based selling and measurable ROI
Team Development and Leadership
• Recruit, train and retain top-tier sales professionals with a focus on a new business growth
• Provide coaching, ride-alongs and daily feedback to strengthen sales skills and confidence
• Set clear expectations, recognize high performance and address underperformance quickly
• Promote Eagle's employee-ownership culture, building a collaborative, accountable team environment
Market and Business Management
• Oversee market operations with an emphasis on supporting revenue success
• Manage budgets, monitor performance and ensure profitability
• Partner with programming, promotions and digital teams to maximize audience growth that drives sales opportunities
• Ensure compliance with FCC regulations, company policies and ESOP standards
Community Engagement
• Represent Eagle Media as face of our Manhattan brands at local events and civic functions
• Cultivate relationships with business leaders, nonprofits and community organizations to create revenue opportunities
• Build Eagle Media's reputation as a trusted, local, employee-owned company invested in the Manhattan community
Experience and Requirements
• Proven history of exceeding revenue and budget goals in sales management, market manager or general manager roles
• Strong record of hiring, training, and motivating sales talent with measurable results
• Media sales management experience in a comparable market preferred, but not required
• Demonstrated ability to develop leaders and hold teams accountable
• Entrepreneurial spirit, competitive drive, and passion for building client success
• Detail-oriented, goal-driven and self-motivated
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with community presence
• Familiarity with media sales software platforms (Marketron, VCreative) a plus

Compensation and Benefits
Compensation is commensurate with experience along with a competitive benefits package, including health insurance, 401k, paid vacation and employee stock ownership plan
