Marketing & Communications Intern

About Us
The Granada, The Bottleneck and Lucia are premier live music venues known for showcasing emerging and established artists across genres. From local performances to touring acts, we're passionate about creating unforgettable live experiences and building community through music and culture. We're seeking a creative, detail-oriented communications and marketing intern passionate about live music to join our team.
What You'll Do
Content Creation and Social Media
• Assist in creating engaging content for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter/X and other platforms
• Capture and edit short-form video and photo content during events
• Write copy for posts, newsletters, blog posts and website updates
Marketing & Promotion
• Support development and execution of promotional strategies for upcoming shows
• Assist with email marketing campaigns and ticket giveaways
• Distribute posters/flyers locally (street team support as needed)
Public Relations & Communications
• Help maintain media lists and draft press releases
• Monitor press coverage and social mentions
• Engage with fans and anwer inquiries on social platforms
Administrative Support
• Update artist/event pages on the venue website
• Track analytics and prepare performance reports
• Coordinate with artists, agents and internal teams as needed
What We're Looking For
• Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in communications, marketing, public relations or related field
• Stong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with or enthusiasm for social media strategy and content creation
• Passion for live music and the entertainment industry
• Organized, proactive and able to work independently in a deadline-driven environment
• Basic knowledge of tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Mailchimp, and/or social scheduling platforms (a plus)
