Marketing Specialist


Baker University seeks applicants to fill a Marketing Specialist position in the Marketing and Communications Department. The Marketing Specialist will serve as the project manager and liaison between enrollment teams and marketing agency partners, ensuring consistent messaging and alignment to organic strategy and overall institutional strategy. This person will drive Baker’s email marketing strategy and will become intertwined with our Salesforce instance. This individual will be an ultimate team player, working with campus partners and the marketing team. This person may be required to interface with several other university departments, including the Office of the President, the Office of Admission, Alumni Relations, and University Development. Other duties are to be assigned as needed.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required, master’s degree preferred in marketing/communications or related field. One to two years of marketing experience preferred.  A thorough understanding of content strategy; understanding of building marketing plans; excellent writing, design, and interpersonal skills; HTML skills preferable; proficiency in the Adobe Creative Cloud; experience providing content in a CMS – WordPress, Salesforce/Pardot experience.
