Jay Haverty

I am from Lenexa, Kansas, and have been a Jayhawk my entire life. I graduated from KU with a Bachelor of Science degree in Sport Management and a minor in Journalism in 2020. As a student at KU, I also worked as a student assistant for the Washburn University men’s basketball team in Topeka. Following my time at KU, I earned a Master of Arts in Education degree from Ottawa University. During my time in Ottawa, I played on the golf team and worked as a graduate assistant for the men’s basketball program. In addition to advising, I also have experience working on the admissions side of higher education. As a recent graduate, I have encountered many similar situations as you, so please feel free to ask me any questions about being a student at KU!
