Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Route Sales Intern to join our Direct Store Delivery (DSD) team. As a Route Sales Representative, you will be responsible for managing and growing sales in a designated territory by delivering Campbell's Snacks products to retail stores. You will ensure that our products are well-stocked, attractively displayed, and available to meet customer demands.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Route Management:

    • Manage a designated sales route, ensuring timely delivery and replenishment of Campbell's Snacks products to retail locations.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with store managers and staff to enhance product placement and sales opportunities.
    • Monitor and manage inventory levels, product freshness, and shelf life to ensure optimal product quality and availability.
  2. Sales and Merchandising:

    • Execute merchandising strategies to maximize product visibility and sales, including setting up displays, rotating stock, and maintaining product presentation standards.
    • Identify and capitalize on sales opportunities within the route, including introducing new products and promotions to increase market share.
    • Monitor competitor activities and market trends to stay informed and competitive.
  3. Customer Service:

    • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring satisfaction with Campbell's Snacks products.
    • Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and preferences, offering tailored solutions to enhance their business.
  4. Reporting and Compliance:

    • Maintain accurate records of sales, deliveries, inventory, and customer interactions.
    • Utilize handheld devices and software for route management, order processing, and communication.


  • Minimum 21 years old
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Physical ability to lift and carry products, set up displays, and perform other physical tasks as required.
