Social Media Intern

Requirement/Skills

We seek an enthusiastic intern(s) to work with us on our client social media. We ask that they have a solid understanding of the following:

• Social media copy writing

• Social media listening and community management skills

• Understanding of social media platforms

• Creating graphics for social media (Canva or other graphic design platform is preferred)

Responsibilities will include:

• Posting requests from clients in a timely manner

• Creating graphics for social media posts when needed

• Drafting a monthly social analytics report

• Responding to private messages and public comments in a professional manner

• Sharing reviews, public comments and feedback with clients

• Interacting with customer comments

• Distributing weekly e-newsletter

• Monitoring social media engagement and comments through Sprout Social

Internship candidates should be actively enrolled in or a recent graduate of a university public relations, marketing, advertising or other related program. The position pays $15/hour with the option for school credit as needed. Intern availability should be between 10-30 hours per week.
