Social Media/Marketing Intern

The Pinnacle Groups, a leader in staffing, payroll and human resources industries, is searching for a part-time social media and marketing intern for its headquarters in Olathe, Kansas. The ideal candidate will be a college student studying marketing, digital marketing communications, communications or graphic design and will be able to work in our corporate headquarters in Olathe for 10-15 hours per week.

The social media/marketing intern, reporting to the Digital Marketing Coordinator, will assist with regular posts on the company's Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram and Twitter/X pages. the intern will also assist in planning our expanding presence on social media. Candidates with print design, video editing, marketing and/or strategic marketing go to the top of the list.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities to expand our social media presence, including but not limited to new platforms, campaigns, ideas for video, etc. to increase engagement across all social channels.

• Write, design and post regular weekly posts, job posts, event posts and other.

• Strategize and produce new campaign ideas for use of video, including Reels, Shorts, etc.

• Follow customers' pages as our pages, then regularly interact with their social posts.

• Work with Digital Marketing Coordinator to establish a full calendar of posts.

• Work with stakeholders at all branch locations to grow individual branch pages.

• Other projects, such as print design projects, event planning, etc., can be assigned depending on qualifications and interest.

Qualifications

• Working toward or completed a bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or graphic design.

• Computer literacy in Microsoft Office and graphic design programs such as Photoshop, InDesign, (Adobe Creative Cloud).

• Ability to build positive, professional relationships with team members and management.

• Excellent oral and written communication.

• Multitasking with the ability to meet deadlines is a must

• Ability to work effectively within a team environment.

Salary: $12/hour
