Sports Podcast Intern

360 Sports in Colorado Springs, CO, offers a hands-on internship in the Spring, Summer and Fall semesters. Intern will ideate, create and execute unique, innovative concepts for promoting Pro Mindset® Podcast. Here’s a list of the various duties & responsibilities:

  • Strategize and execute social media plan that engages with current followers and attracts new followers. Then execute the plan with excellence;

  • Produce the weekly podcast including minor editing and short videos for social media;

  • Write creative copy and visuals for various audiences on various social media platforms,

    specifically, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube and LinkedIn;

  • Research and pitch appropriate media on interview opportunities to promote PMP;

  • Research various topics and/or speakers for Pro Mindset Podcast;

  • Research and assist with securing speaking opportunities; and

  • Presentations: Assist with creating and/or editing presentations in Canva or PowerPoint.

    Candidate must be articulate, great writer, storyteller & communicator, multitasker, person of integrity, self-starter, self-disciplined, strive for excellence, genuine, and is a team

    player. Candidate must possess a desire to help others, solve problems, a knack for developing content, and some college course work in related to publicity or social media. Must have a minimum 3.0 GPA.

    Knowledge of game of football a plus, but not critical. The ideal person should be very familiar with social media platforms and have knowledge of how to use Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube to reach consumers. Computer skills in Microsoft Office programs are needed. Self-starter to learn new software critical. Ideally would like a candidate who also possesses basic graphic design skills or video skills, but not critical. Cover letter or resume should outline all skills candidate possesses, courses taken to demonstrate competency and what software programs they are efficient in utilizing.
