Marketing and Communications Summer Intern

The Marketing and Communications Summer Intern supports the Kansas Department of Commerce by crating print and digital content, including social media posts, graphics, photography, press releases and website updates. The intern also assists with internal and external communications, surveys, memos and special projects as needed.

Compensation: $15.03 hourly

Postion Responsibilities:
• Produces print and digital content for the Department of Commerce Marketing-Communications team, to include social media, photography, press releases, email blasts, graphic design and website maintenance.

• Provides support as needed with memos for the Secretary/Lieutenant Governor, internal and external surveys and other special projects.

Qualifications
• College student currently enrolled in college courses or demonstrated work experience in marketing, journalism or business management.
