Marketing Specialist
Baker University seeks applicants to fill a Marketing Specialist position in the Office of Marketing and Communications. The Marketing Specialist will serve as the project manager and liaison between enrollment teams and marketing agency partners, ensuring consistent messaging and alignment to organic strategy and overall institutional strategy. The Marketing Specialist will provide organization to the department ensuring projects meet deadlines and are within the project scope. This person may be required to interface with several other university departments, including the Office of the President, the Office of Admission, Alumni Relations, and University Development. Other duties are to be assigned as needed.
For project management, this individual will monitor the progression of projects throughout the creative process, from intake through completion, with the help of the creative services team. This person will help shepherd projects through concept, writing, and design, and communicate frequently with all team members to ensure deadlines are met.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required, master’s degree preferred in marketing/communications or related field; one to two years of marketing experience; excellent organizational skills; understanding of building marketing plans; excellent writing, design, and interpersonal skills; HTML skills preferable; proficiency in Asana or comparable project management tool; experience providing content in a CMS – WordPress; Salesforce/Pardot Experience preferred.
