Job Summary/Description:  

KCTV5 in Kansas City is looking for another great anchor and storyteller to join our amazing team! If you love connecting people to their communities—and you have a passion for local news—we will give you everything you need to succeed. This is a Monday-Friday anchor position with a chance to turn special reports on meaningful, impactful stories that you help choose. The perfect candidate is an incredible communicator who appreciates the difference you can make in people’s lives. Duties/Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

- Experience owning breaking news from the desk and from the field.

- Excellent on-camera presentation.

- Exceptional writer and storyteller.

- Strong contributor on all platforms.

- Fantastic newsroom citizen.

Qualifications/Requirements:

- 5 years of anchoring experience.
