News Anchor/Reporter
The morning anchor/reporter at KCTV is responsible for co-anchoring the morning show from 4:30 a.m.-7 a.m. and 9 a.m.-10 a.m. They will anchor the morning show from 7 a.m. to 8 a.m. on KSMO. The morning anchor/reporter will also be responsible for creating at least once package per week and other duties as assigned.
Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Responsible for co-anchoring KCTV's morning show from 4:30-7 a.m. and 9-10 a.m.
• Anchor the morning show from 7-8 a.m. on KSMO
• Create at least one package per week
• Other duties, including off-site appearances as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements
• 3-5 years anchoring experience
• Ability to handle breaking news live in studio and in the field
• Excellent on-camera presentation
• Be able to write in a clear, concise and conversational manner
