Online Show Host


The Kansas City Chapter of the Fulbright Association, serving Kansas and Missouri alumni, is looking for a dynamic, energetic and driven online show host and co-host/Zoom-tech producer on a part-time, temporary, contract basis for 5-6 virtual, one-hour shows and potentially one two-hour virtual show, which air from noon to 1 p.m. and noon to 2 p.m. for the two-hour show. If you are a strong verbal and written communicator, adept at on-air writing, have a deep comfort with Zoom functions, possess the ability to attract followers, and engage internationally-minded audiences, we want to hear from you.

These two positions work closely together and will produce creative, event-related social media content.

Both positions are remote. Candidates must have their own desktop or laptop devices and software.

Salary: Compensation is commensurate with experience.

Experience

Previous TV or radio or on-air experience is a plus, but we'll train the right candidate. Senior or junior year students are welcomed. Requirements

The right candidates for these two positions have the ability to write creatively for on-air and online content, are super comfortable with social media content production, and take direction well. The right candidates are comfortable/expert at interacting with co-hosts, guests, and online audiences.

The right candidates are coachable, work well with others, and are proficient with wearing multiple hats. Finally, you are dependable, have reliable computing devices with high-quality sound and camera, and high-speed connectivity.
