Part-Time Weekend News Anchor

Saturday morning shift, 4 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Write news and sports for each weekend (mostly sports). The news director has most of the news stories prepared for the shift, but sometimes breaking news requires some last-minute additions. The part-time weekend anchor leads the 6, 7, 8, and 9 newscasts which are 3 stories, then sports, and weather.  At 10 and 11, it's a 3-minute newscast with weather at the end.  Sometimes a short sports report may be required for a major sports event going on on a particular weekend.  Then at noon, we have a full newscast of 6 stories a minimum of three with actualities. We also have the daily record (obituaries), sports, and weather.  Then all the afternoon newscasts are pre-recorded from 1 to 5 if there are any (if we have sports play-by-play, many if not all of those are often pre-empted).
