Cody Brown

Cody Brown has been serving in higher education and human resources at the University of Kansas since 2018, building a strong foundation in recruitment and talent acquisition before transitioning into his current role as an HR Partner. Cody currently supports the School of Journalism, Jayhawk Global, as well as the School of Professional Studies and the KU Edwards Campus in Overland Park.

In this capacity, he collaborates closely with university leadership to provide strategic HR guidance, helping ensure departmental goals align with broader organizational objectives while fostering employee and team success.

With more than eight years of human resources experience, Cody serves as a trusted liaison between HR and the units he supports, advising both leaders and employees, and developing people-centered solutions that drive organizational effectiveness. He holds dual bachelor's degrees in Business Management and Human Resource Management from Kansas State University, along with certifications as a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and Technical Recruiter.
