Biography —
Hailong Peng is a Ph.D. student at the William Allen White School of Journalism and Mass Communications at the University of Kansas. He earned his B.A. in Public Relations from Hainan University and his M.A. in Advertising from Xiamen University. He also completed exchange study at the Graduate Institute of Journalism, National Taiwan University.
His research examines the challenges and opportunities of science, health, environment and risk communication in the digital media environment. His work explores how SHER information on social media influences people’s behavior and engagement and the psychological mechanisms underlying persuasive effects across diverse cultural contexts.
