Karen Lane Christilles

Karen Lane Christilles (pronounced chris-till-us) is the administrative associate in the William Allen White School of Journalism and Mass Communications dean’s office. A strategic, mission-driven leader, she brings experience in higher education, arts administration, and entrepreneurship, with strengths in program development, fundraising, and community partnerships. She previously worked at the Lied Center of Kansas, where she secured major grants and produced large-scale events. Karen is excited to support JMC’s award-winning faculty and students.
