Marlys Shulda

Marlys Shulda is the Associate Development Director with KU Endowment Association for the William Allen White School of Journalism and Mass Communications.  She spent 15 years working as a juvenile probation officer, took a break from the world of probation in 2007 to stay home and raise two children, then transitioned to a new career in fund raising. Marlys has worked on both local and national political campaigns and previously served as the development coordinator for American Public Square. She is a passionate Jayhawk and thrilled to be back on Mount Oread. When not helping supporters navigate their gifts to the school, Marlys can be found reading, boating, or camping with husband (Brian, e’90), and two kids (daughter Marah, e’23, is a proud Marching Jayhawk).
