Production Engineer/Promotions Support

Experience

The primary responsibilities of this role include engineering live sports broadcasts to ensure high quality and smooth execution, monitoring the quality of syndicated shows and programs to ensure they meet company standards, and assisting in the planning and execution of promotions and commercial production. Production Engineer/Promotions Support will also be responsible for some on-air shifts as needed, organizing and facilitating barter arrangements with our stations and broadcast partners, as well as being on call for severe weather events as a service to our communities. Additionally, this role may include additional projects assigned by the Operations Manager.

Requirements

The ideal candidate for this position will have experience in the following:

• Live broadcast engineering and production

• A strong knowledge of audio production and editing software

• The ability to multitask and handle a fast-paced work environment

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Flexibility to be on call for severe weather events five weeks out of the year
