Summer Marketing Intern


The marketing summer internship program is an opportunity for an area student to gain valid work experience, and for the marketing department to receive extra support with graphic design, photography, social media, archiving, writing and other entry-level tasks. The intern will be responsible for several projects fitting their experience and the needs of the marketing department. Upon the completion of a successful internship, the student will receive two single tickets to the ballet and an excellent addition to their resume. The position will receive a stipend of up to $1,500.

Scheduled tasks for the summer 2025 summer intern include:

• Research and create content for our social media outlets
• Help archive and file materials
• Assist with adding next season's events to online calendars
• Organizational projects as needed
• Research projects as assigned
• Writing and proof-reading projects as assigned
• Photography and videography, if applicable
• Graphic design, if applicable
• Help with the planning and execution of projects, marketing plan, publicity, etc.
• Possibilities to work with the different departments at Kansas City Ballet to gain overall insight and receive valuable work experiences throughout the organization
• Other projects that may suite the intern's interests and skills

Duration
10 to 12 hours per week for three months

Compensation
Interns will receive a stipend of up to $1,500. College credit can also be arranged.

Recommended participant ages
College sophomores, juniors, seniors or recent college graduates
