Summer Reporting Intern

A family weekly newspaper in Marysville, Kan., seeks a summer reporting intern. Duties would include general assignment reporting in a community of 3,000 that is heavy on agriculture, the arts, outdoors recreation and manufacturing. The reporter would also handle photography and video projects. The job would pay $15 an hour. The reporter would need a vehicle and to find housing. Lodging would be available at the editor's guest room if a student needs a place to stay. The internship could be up to eight weeks or as short as a month.
